Hi! I’m Laura, an Environment Artist from Sussex, uk.
I have been lucky enough to have had the opportunity to work for multiple different companies around the world during my career in Visual Effects. These have included, MPC Film in Montreal, DNEG in London, and Industrial Light and Magic in Sydney.
To have been able to live abroad and explore these different countries with my work has been such an amazing experience and I am so grateful to be able to continue to do it.
Working at big companies such as ILM and also smaller ones like One of Us, has also given me a huge insight in to how different visual effects houses are run, and the variety of day to day work small and large companies can offer.

In the Woods
Tucked away in the English countryside, a small cabin awaits its next guests. Decorated in colourful bunting, and with a little red door, there is rarely a quiet day in this area of the woods, until some unexpected guests move in, and they don’t seem very intent on leaving anytime soon.

A small mirror shop in the streets of Paris is much more magical than it first appears. As passers-by look through the store front windows, little do they know the shop owner has worked behind that counter for hundreds of years and has a dark secret he can’t have getting out.

The Boat House
The Boat House on the river in the heart of the Cotswolds, has been home to old man, Mr Briggs for the last 23 years. He doesn’t need much space, as it is only him and the occasional brave mouse that ever sees the inside of those walls. That is, until a curious young boy moves in to the village.
